IG @palomita_mar I started off with a Honda ’69 CB350 (Lucille). She gave me carb issues from day 1. I learned how to rebuild them, set my points, and really get intimate with her little idiosyncrasies. In the fall of last year, I got a 2014 Triumph Bonneville named Ursula. I loved the classic look of the bike and wanted an update from my carbureted motorcycle, and the ride is really comfortable and responsive.
IG @ducatidarling My main squeeze is Big Red, an 06 Ducati Multistrada. I had a Suzuki GS500f for a month before I started getting interested in long distance adventuring. I picked up a second bike, a 1988 Honda NX125 named “Lil Whiz”, for zipping around town and to learn the art of zen and motorcycle maintenance on. I've had to replace and work on just about everything you could on that bike and now it runs better than ever.
IG @karissa_would I learned to ride in the dirt on a Suzuki DR200, I fell in love with that little bike and haven’t been able to let it go. It’s great off road and it’s fun to commute around the city on, especially when I need to jump a curb and take off down an alley to avoid traffic. I also ride a Kawasaki Ninja 300 for longer rides or if I just want to go fast.
IG @dangerjane I still have my first bike, an 07 Harley Nightster 1200 named Leroy. It’s a cruiser but I ride it more aggressively than any Harley rider would like, it handles well! I bought my 07 Thruxton, “TJ”, 5 years ago and absolutely love to blast through a long set of twisties on it. It’s the most responsive bike I’ve ridden and handles every demand I ask of it – speed, power, agility and comfort. I tend to ride it like I stole it.
